White Kaftans is Melissa Odabash's white kaftan collection, in cotton, lace-crochet and open-knit texture, built around finish rather than print for a honeymoon or coordinated white look. The same standard that governs White Beach Dresses applies here - white shows everything a kaftan is doing, so only the most considered pieces in the wider range earn the color and the coverage it demands from the fabric underneath. It's the collection where craft has nowhere left to hide. Lucinda Burgundy Dress leads the edit alongside the lace-crochet Antonia White Dress and Ursula White Dress, each chosen for a finish detailed enough to justify the color on its own without a print to fall back on. Becky White Shirt Dress, Elena Ivory Shirt, Hillary White/Burgundy Dress, Petra White Flowers Kaftan and Nina White Flowers Kaftan extend the range across cotton, lace-crochet and open-knit textures, all held to the same white or ivory base running consistently through the whole page. Every piece earns its place through finish rather than print, which is a higher bar than most of the wider range needs to clear. Wear alone for a honeymoon evening on the coast, or over White Swimwear for a fully coordinated look from beach to dinner table. White Kaftans is where the range's most considered fabric stories - lace, crochet, embroidery - meet in a single, unifying color, a discipline Melissa Odabash has held to for more than two decades of resort dressing.
