Warm, sun-baked color gives orange beachwear a natural place in the Melissa Odabash resort wardrobe. Cinnamon brings a rich, understated depth, while bespoke Retro print introduces pattern with a distinctly vintage sensibility. Together, they move across dresses and cover-ups designed with the same attention to proportion, detail and ease that has shaped the brand for more than two decades.
Cinnamon is particularly effortless worn tonally. The Dulcie Dress is an easy layer over the deliberately skimpy Girona Bikini, taking a minimal triangle bikini into après-beach territory without losing the ease of the day. The richness of the shade does much of the work, making a simple combination feel considered enough for a long lunch or drinks after the beach.
Retro tells a more expressive story. Created as a bespoke Melissa Odabash print, its warm tones appear across swimwear and resortwear intended to be worn together. Slip the Electra Dress over the new Byron Bikini, with its distinctive open-ring bandeau shape, for the kind of dressing that makes moving from beach to exploring the resort feel effortless. The print carries the look, while the change in silhouette takes it somewhere more refined.
That ease is something Melissa Odabash has honed through more than 20 years of designing for women who travel. From a Cinnamon dress thrown over a bikini to bespoke Retro print worn from the water into the afternoon, each piece is considered as part of a wider vacation wardrobe. Beautiful on its own, better still when the pieces are allowed to work together.
