Beach Shirts is Melissa Odabash's layering shirt collection, in cotton, viscose, lace-crochet and knit, built to move from swimwear cover-up to evening wear. Melissa Odabash has always believed a shirt should outlast the swim it is thrown over, and Beach Shirts is built on exactly that expectation from the first fitting. Cut for layering rather than standing alone, each piece moves from cover-up to evening without a second thought. A good shirt, worn open or buttoned, changes what the rest of an outfit is allowed to do. Worn well, it should look intentional at both ends of that range. The cotton Krissy White Trouser and Tina White Shirt offer crisp, breathable coverage, the viscose Ariel Retro Shirt and Ziggy Marine Shirt bring a softer drape to the range, and the lace-crochet Elena Ivory Shirt and knit Daria White/Gold Shirt complete the edit with a more textured, relaxed shape to choose from. Each is chosen for breathability and easy packing over structure, coordinating naturally with beach trousers and swimwear across the wider collection. Oversized fits are used deliberately throughout, so a shirt can be borrowed from the next size up without ever looking borrowed. Wear open over a bikini for the walk back from the water, or buttoned with beach pants for lunch away from the pool entirely. A shirt this considered rarely stays a cover-up for long. The shirts rarely change here; how they're worn does, moving easily from morning to evening without a second thought.
