Bags is Melissa Odabash's beach and travel bag collection: structured totes in cotton canvas, built for daily beach and travel use. A bag has to survive sand, salt water and an airport in the same afternoon, and Melissa Odabash has spent more than two decades designing around exactly that demand. Bags is the edit built for travel first and styling second, though it rarely feels like a compromise between the two. Every material here was chosen for how it ages over a decade of trips, not just how it photographs on day one in a shop window. Porto Cervo Beige Bag, a personalized cotton canvas beach tote, leads the edit for daily use, while Cap Ferrat White Bag, its softer cotton canvas counterpart, suits lighter days by the water, each chosen for how it travels as much as how it looks. Carry the Porto Cervo or Cap Ferrat tote with pieces from Swimwear for beach days, or into an evening finished with a hat from Hats and a pair of Sandals. The right bag rarely needs explaining twice. A bag chosen well outlasts several good seasons of whatever it's carried alongside, and earns its place back in the case long after the vacation that first justified buying it.
